Partnering with McAlister High School, this event will provide a safe space for young mothers, their children, and their extended support system to gather as a community and counteract the feelings of isolation that comes with becoming a young parent. Participants will enjoy self-care activities, movement/art therapy workshops, discussions around wellness, and resources for free/reduced cost mental health services. Meals will be provided and all participants will leave with free baby supplies, personal care items, and an expanded network of community that they can refer to as they navigate motherhood.
